Big Changes Incoming for Ikoniqa by the end of 2022

The studio will be undergoing three noteable changes over the next two months as 2022 comes to a close.

Ikoniqa Motorsport Studio will be undergoing some big changes over the next two months as 2022 comes to a close.


Three Big Incoming Changes


Update 1 

The studio is creating two brand new paths for people and entities within motorsports to access our services without becoming traditional clients of ours. Instead of deciding if you’d like to work with us, we want to give more people the option to decide how they would like to work with us. Not everyone can afford nor is best suited to engage with us in inside the bounds of a traditional client model. These new routes aim to address that. Our new servicing options will launch in a "beta / experimental" state later this month.

Update 2

The website will see a subtle brand identity update / update to the UI (user interface) as we add new features to make browsing, reading, and visiting our site a more enjoyable experience.


Update 3

Last, but certainly not least…The studio name is changing. This one I’m sure will disappoint some of you. However, after extensive research and polling, the decision was made to seek out a new name that wasn’t so hard to spell... or pronounce... or remember…you know, things that matter a lot when building brand equity.


The Driver / Reason for Change


These changes are driven by the studio's search for better product market fit within motorsports as a business. In our case, that means asking, “how do we provide design and marketing services that the motorsports community truly finds value in / uses?”. Despite the studio’s success to date, I don’t believe we’ve found the answer (yet). However, the incoming changes will aim to bring us a step closer.


Rollout Schedule


Early November – Ikoniqa gets a new name (Video + Blog)

Mid / Late November – The Studio’s new servicing options launch along with the site’s updated brand identity and user interface (Video + Blog)
